Every day I think of you...as you were...


In life's most mundane moments...Memories creep up..
Jus' like you would and hug me from behind....
Curled on the couch, flipping meaningless channels...
I think of you
Walking on the pavement, ducking from hawkers...
I think of you
Shopping for daily rations, and waiting in long queues...
I think of you...
Brushing my teeth to my reflection in the mirror...
I think of you...
Everyday..I think of you...
In life's meaningless moments..
and wonder if...you add meaning to them...

The beads are undone and strewn on the floor.
I begin to pick them up...and then, I let it lay.

Hundred dreams, Hundred wishes, A thousand complaints
One life - ours.

And in it...

I reach for the sky with my open palms,
And in the nothingness, I have everything.

The water slipping through my fingers,
And in its flow, I have eternity

The leaves rustling for my attentions ,
And in its whispers, I have companionship

A sense of equilibrium

Balanced on the tightrope with her toes.
A stick to hold…and a height to fear.
But she stood fearless…with poise.
Balancing marriage, aspirations and motherhood, oh dear!
That instills more fear,she wobbled.
